Our 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé is a pale coloured rosé produced in the traditional way, with the juice drawn off the red skins and fermented cold and promises crushed strawberries and rose petal aromas and on the palate.
Our richly flavoured 2018PrimeraShiraz, made in a rounder fruit- driven style to encourage the red berry, plum and white pepper characters to show through. The aptly named 2019Sweet Shiraz, one of our most popular wines, can be served cool, alongside a range of dishes from savoury to sweet.
We have noticed the popularity of our range of medium bodied reds that make for good drinking all year round and looked hard for a variety to extend our range. We have chosen Merlot as the variety to work with due to its delicious raspberry and cherry aromas and palate. Our 2019 Primera Merlot from the Hilltops region delivers these characters in spades.
Our 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot is rich beetroot- red in colour and shows beautiful redcurrant/blackcurrant and jube-like aromas with restrained vanillin oak lift that lets the fruit shine through. The rich and full palate has a lovely amalgam of red fruits and oak flavours and a soft drying tannin finish.This wine is due for release in February of next year.
The 2018Tempranillo is deep cherry -red in colour with savoury notes of plum, raspberry, tomato leaf and mocha- like American oak notes. The palate displays rich red fruit flavours of plum and blueberry with a soft drying tannin and oak finish.
The 2018 Fenix is our flagship red wine and is a blend of Cabernet and Shiraz made from fruit grown in Mudgee. The wine has a rich bouquet of blackcurrant, cherry and blackberry and lovely vanillin oak aromas while the flavoursome palate is firm and rich with youthful berry, tannin and oak characteristics that will soften under careful maturation for those who can control the urge to open the bottle for a number of years.
