Corner of Oakey Creek Road and Ingles Lane, Pokolbin
As you turn in from Oakey Creek Road and draw to a halt before our main building, the architectural ambience of Tuscany and southern Spain diffuses through the senses. Spanish roof tiles complement the warm hues of the rendered façade of the cellar door.
A statue of Bacchus greets you as you step inside the large entranceway where the spacious tasting area beckons through the exquisite hand -wrought iron gates from which the Estate takes its name. From the Spanish floor tiles to the hand painted tiles and sweeping marble benchtop that adorn the tasting bar, you are immersed in the ambience of the space.
Rustic wooden benches and a table positioned in front of a cosy fireplace provide a restful interlude in the cellar door and a perfect place for a winter wine tasting. Step outside into our courtyard, with its colourful and fragrant gardens, where you can take in the extensive view of our vineyards, listen to the tranquil sounds of the fountains or enjoy a tasting of our wines on a fine day. These areas are very popular so ensure you book ahead to secure your special spot for your next wine tasting at
