Chardonnay is recognised as one of the Hunter Valleys finest varieties, showing many different facets depending on vintage, vineyard and vinification methods. This wine has been made from fruit from our vineyard, with some of the wine fermented in Hungarian, French and American oak barrels and the remainder left to mature on lees in stainless steel tanks. These components have been blended together to produce a wine that is green-straw in colour, with aromas of stone fruit, banana and those combined vanillin oak and brioche- like yeast characters that barrel fermentation brings.

The palate is reflective of the bouquet, with hints of fruit salad, vanillin and pastry flavours and a flinty and refreshing acid finish. Although this wine can be enjoyed by itself slightly chilled, it will complement poultry, pasta and seafood dishes. Enjoy our wine in moderation.
