Sometimes a wine comes along that demands to be bottled in its own right. This is one of those wines. The happy marriage of beautiful fruit, careful winemaking and slow barrel maturation has resulted in a big, embraceable lushness. Rich is its middle name.
At its best when accompanied by food!
This wine is a result of the winemaking team making a decision to keep 5 barrels of Shiraz separate for it’s own release for our Wine Club members. This selection has realised a wine with ripe cherry, plum and blackberry compote combined with soft integrated oak and an inherent spiciness that carries over onto the palate. The rich flavours of ripe red fruit, vanillin oak and the soft tannins from barrel maturation make for a more-ish palate.
Great drinking with juicy beef dishes, smoked lamb or tasty cheese.
