Iron Gate Estate is a unique wine estate nestled in the heart of the Hunter Valley with a history of individual flair reflected in both its architecture and winemaking philosophy.
A carefully assembled blend of red and white fruit grown on the Estate has resulted in a pink rose-blush wine of complexity and style. With aromas of redcurrant, passionfruit, melon and raspberry and an easy -going palate of red berries and a refreshingly drying finish, this wine is sure to please. Delicious on its own or will complement cold meats, tapas , seafood and poultry dishes. Enjoy this wine in moderation.
This wine bears the name of Iron Gate Estate founder Roger Lilliot’s mother, Rose, who emigrated to Australia at the age of 93 and was still helping out in the winery until her passing at age 96.
