The Iron Gate Estate Member's Premium Dinner for 2009 was held recently. The dinner was a resounding success. A record 78 members attended the winery to enjoy Irongate Primera Methode Champenoise and canapes as the sun set, followed by a delicious six-course degustation meal by the award-winning Cellar Restaurant paired with a preview of Iron Gate Estate's latest wines.

Thanks is due to all of our premium wine club members who attended the dinner, the team from Cellar Restaurant and the Iron Gate Estate staff who worked so hard to make the evening a success.

Iron Gate Estate is one of the Hunters finest boutique wineries.

Our air-conditioned cellar door is a refuge from the summer sun and a warm welcome on a winters day. Enjoy tasting of our range of wines under Spanish roof and floor tiles and iron-bark beams which exude the ambience of southern Spain.

The hand crafted wrought-iron gates flanking our entrance reflect our hand crafted approach to wine-making. Great care has been paid to the detail of our winery and wines. Our tasting room features a welcoming fireplace, hand painted tiled tasting bar, and and an outdoor tasting area with gentle fountains and views to our vines. There are few wineries in the Hunter where you can see all of the vines on which the wine you are tasting has been grown.

We offer true Hunter Wines, produced only from grapes grown in own vineyard and carefuly picked by hand. Our winery is nothing less than state of the art with the very latest technology in wine making and is designed to enable small parcels of selected grapes to be crafted individually to provide the highest possible quality.
